Quebec Web Compliance Observatory

Every quarter, we measure the observable web compliance of Quebec organizations — HTTPS, privacy policy, cookie banner, security headers — and publish the results aggregated by sector.

First edition in preparation

The first edition of the Observatory is being collected. Subscribe to the newsletter to receive it as soon as it is published.

Methodology

Passive observation

Only elements visible to any visitor: HTTPS, presence of a privacy policy, cookie banner, HTTP security headers, contact information. No intrusion, no active testing.

Aggregation only

No individual result is published. Statistics are aggregated by sector, with a minimum of 5 organizations per published sector.

Same criteria as the tool

The Observatory uses exactly the same scanner as the free assessment: anyone can check their own site against the same criteria.

These indicators measure observable web compliance signals; they are neither a full audit nor legal advice.
